Being born and raised on Oahu, Ian is grateful to serve the community he was raised alongside. Ian graduated with Magna Cum Laude honors from University of Hawaii at Manoa with a double major in Finance & International Business, and a minor in piano. Through his educational years in Hawaii, studying abroad in Paris, and studying at University of Oregon for a one-year national exchange, Ian developed a love for building relationships and learning about others from various backgrounds and world views.
After almost 2 years of working as an account manager for Hawaii Information Service, a multi listing service company for Big Island and Kauai Realtors, Ian built many relationships while learning about real estate from the hundreds of Realtors he helped.
Ian noticed many Realtors had clients that were open to working with mortgage loan officers with characteristics similar to his. With his high level of responsiveness, personability, and responsibility, developed from almost 4 years of customer service, Ian made a natural transition into the mortgage industry.
Ian provides all his clients with excellent communication, step by step guidance, and the best fit products according to their individual needs. His company, Infinite Financial LLC, is an independent mortgage brokerage company headed by Duncan Hsia, an industry veteran with an excellent local reputation and over a decade of experience. Unlike a retail bank, Infinite Financial works with many different local and national lenders to find the best fitting product for each of its customers.
On his free time, Ian loves reading psychology & personal growth books, playing beach volleyball, travelling, spending time with family and friends, making new friends, playing board games, having deep conversations, journaling in coffee shops, and playing with his brother’s cat, Casper. Ian believes healthy relationships, morning gratitude, and daily purposeful living are some keys to his happiness each day.
